All of our rods are made from high quality 98% Carbon Fiber. They are each designed in Japan and manufactured in one of only a handful of factories in China that produces Tenkara rods for the world market. Made with high grade carbon fiber, high grade cork grips, machined aluminum butt caps with drain holes and foam section dampener this series of rods mark a substantial upgrade in our line of rods.
These rods are designed in Japan. We are offering 3 rods with finished lengths from 10.5' to 13'. The 11.5' at 6:4 action feels feather soft, has excellent line turn over with our furled lines, lays a fly down with precision and delicacy. The 10.5' and 13' at 7:3 action have a firm feel to their cast, are incredibly precise and have a strong control over a fish on your line.

"The Tenkara-Fishing.com rod was a 320cm (about 10.5') 7:3 rod. It was crisp, which you should expect from a 7:3 but not stiff, which you shouldn't. In that respect, it reminded me more of the Daiwa 7:3s than of the Yamame. I am now so used to fishing a 2 ounce rod that I found it a bit heavy, though. Still, at 3.0 ounces it is quite a bit lighter than the Yamame and at $129 less expensive as well. A worthy competitor."
